While I think it IS wrong to use homophobic slurs, shouldn’t things like “retarded” and “nigger” ALSO be words they can be penalized for? I don’t know, I guess that’s just me.

But to be honest, I don’t really think they should be penalized for it because in reality, it won’t really stop. I mean, kids my age use these words on a daily basis and don’t get penalized so. They are told not to use them, but they continue to do so.

I’d like to see them try to penalize the players who use them, but they should still have a rule saying that no, it’s not okay.
